Wireless mouse with unnoticeable delay compared to most wired mouse. I bought it secondhand and i will only recommend you to get this if you found one at relatively cheaper price than the market.

Few months later, i tried to use AAA battery with plastic adapter instead of AA's to cut down weight for about 13gr. Trading control for easier maneuver on lighter mouse was pretty worth it eventhough battery drains a lot faster than it should be.

As for keyboards, I started out with my laptop's membrane which is actually feels pretty good. After that, I kept on changing between various mechanical keyboards with different switches on the hotswappable ones.

Mouse drifts was getting unbearable for me because it always prevents from FC-ing a lot of consistency maps. This was the reason i gave up my dream to be a good mouse player. I also found a good deal on the market so i decided to try tablet out.

Gaomon S620 is a solid pen tablet with pretty good build quality. Less hardware smoothing than most cheap tablets according to Kuuube's Tablet Buying Guide. I put a single rubberband right in the middle of the pen with the intention to get better grip. I also added Reconstructor plugin @0.43 EMA value on the driver that i use (OpenTabletDriver) to get rid the smoothing algorithm done by the tablet's hardware.

My pen grip is what Tonehh calls Dynamic Tripod and basically how i hold my pen to write but higher. I held my pen higher so i can reach wider area of the tablet. Though, because of how high the pivot point located, i sometimes loses control with this grip at certain areas of my tablet area when not warmed up. It doesn't trouble me anymore since now i can play both high or low grip.

On my earlier days of using tablet, i do full drag cause i thought it gives me more control over my aim. After some experimenting with hovering along the way, i figured out that doing both(hybrid) is actually much more comfortable for me. Also, i put a thin mousepad over my tablet to get extra friction to counter the shakiness of the cursor when the tip of the pen touches the tablet surface.

Enlarging my area after i found out that my aim is getting out of control. Trading aim speed for control was always been a good thing for me. 100mm area was really comfortable for me and I've been using this area for the longest until i found my aim getting uncontrollable again. Then, I decided to play full area before i get my new tablet(Wacom CTL-672) which has really big active area.

Wacom CTL-672 is basically the bigger version of the popular CTL-472. Hover distance were expected to be slightly lower than the smaller version of this tablet. I decided to take this for the bigger area and the lack of hardware smoothing with the intention of pursuing less delay input on my cursor without the need of Reconstructor plugin. The pen weighs much lighter and smaller in terms of size, i had to put the rubberband at 3/4 length of the pen instead of putting it right in the middle like on the S620s pen. The only downside from switching to this tablet is the fact that I'm missing out those 4 keys that i had on my previous tablet.

Doing full area on this thing is absolute disaster. I just can't get myself to understand how xootynator can play so good with such a big area like this. Though, I could manage myself to hit some simple 7 stars jump patterns with this area at my peaks. Complaints aside, aiming streams and hitting simple easy jumps with this area feels much more fun than before.

Sadly, I should ditch the idea to learn full area on this tablet since i joined way too many tournaments at the time. The reason was me not being able to consistently reaching the corners of the screen (yet), not good enough to bring this new playstyle to a competitive scene. With that in mind, also because I dont want to be a dead weight for my teammates on those tourneys, I decided to drop to smaller area until i found the sweet spot of having a big area and control for my whole active area. I'm really glad on my decision about this because I did pretty well on most of the tournament matches. Will do learn the true joy of doing full area again in the future after things settle down.

September 2022, pen button broke makes the cursor jumps and input dropping. Bought myself a secondhand CTL-472 just to get a new pen

One of many old professional Wacom tablet line also called by the name Wacom Intuos 3. Boosted report rate (200hz) than consumer line Wacoms. Big and heavy pen with eraser that you could use as an input as well. Pen is much heavier than the CTL-672/472 so I've been avoiding to play with it. May 2023, i left my CTL-672 pen from my hometown. I had to readjust my area to a smaller one because its ergonomics and the extra weight

There are a lot kind of switches that you can try, but I would suggest you to get linears with the right weight and travel distance that suits you. Up until now I'm still changing between switches regularly. Here are some switches that I personally had good experience with.

I mostly play full-alt, tap with middle and point fingers. The lack of genetics doesn't allow me to single tap on long runs plus i broke my left arm when i was young. Depending on the map, sometimes i also do hybrid tapping, mixture of alting and singletap with both fingers.
