1.5. see if there are ranked versions of this song, if so just use those timings!
2. find me on osumod or discord @yestalgia
some example of my timings, or check out my google drive library

on using the google drive: since a good number of them are requested by other mappers, the map might contain their timings/their maps/them as creator, it is ok to change it if you are to use it yourself. Look for "yestalgia's timings" if possible, if there isnt one its probably the top diff

credits: just mention me in tags/description. if its not for ranked, keeping "yestalgia's timings" diff would also be nice for others to use (its also a nice stamp for people to know its timed)

Preferences: feel free to send non music, songs comp, variablebpm, accelbpm, weird timing signatures, anime episodes, youtube shorts, shitposts, maps that you tried to time but arent sure, etc. i can time anything

they are in the form of .osz, exported by lazer client in compatibility mode
in all files contain "yestalgia's timings", which you can use for the timings

general advices:

green day are NOT quantized, i have primarily timed this to white ticks, but do know that tre cool have a tendency to do drums for the red ticks off time. for me (and your) sanity sake, i wouldnt use double the redlines for them. if 1/16 or 1/8 sounds better, feel free to use it

besides red ticks, tre cool sometimes plays drum bursts in 1/4 at a considerably higher bpm than the average bpm of the song, which i should accounted for in these timings, so if you see random notes in the timings diff thats what they are for

since i primarily did timings to the waveform (and it does sound right for me), and they are in time relative to each other, the offset COULD be off for you (mapper/player), i suggest mapper do some kind of playtest for the offset of the whole map

and if you play/chart for some other rhythm games feel free to also take these timings though youll have to figure out how to convert them yourself...

my magnum opus is bocchi the rock ep1
and my first uploaded map is arisu from blue archive having a stroke
i think you can tell my preference of audio choices

i love the idea of "anything can be a map" as long as its interesting and i find a lot of non music to be like this but no one ever maps them so i wanted to make them myself, plus i know how to actually time them

besides funny lobotomy maps, i also do map actual music, so please enjoy my maps!

Today I saw a leaf that looked like a frog and I was like haha nice and then it hopped because it WAS a frog and I started crying bc life is really full of everyday miracles including but not limited to experiencing frogs

and i quote "Spinners are the most degenerate thing I have ever witnessed in a so-called "rhythm" game. I'm not exaggerating when I say they literally ruin osu. Imagine if Guitar Hero had you randomly grab the guitar by the neck and start shaking it around as fast as possible before you start playing chords again. Yeah, it would be fucking stupid. Now imagine that there's an obstacle in osu where you need to shake your mouse faster than humanly possible just to get a clear and then click on the next circle within fractions of a second. That would also be fucking stupid. But that's where we end up when a shitty DS game gets ported to a completely different platform with no alterations to make it actually playable. The fucking theme song even says "click the circles.... to the beat" not "click the circles after having a seizure and not knowing where your mouse cursor is." Oh, or I could turn on autospin and lose 10% of my pp to fix a glaring design flaw in the game. I will never play a beatmap with a spinner in it ever unless the devs stop idolizing the "perfect Japanese game design" and remove spinners entirely."
